The Kirk Family Welcomes You!

Called To Serve

The mission of the Kirk family is to be a community of believers, united by faith, Scripture and a connection to our denomination. We are committed to calling people of Christ and encouraging one another in worship, education and fellowship.

June 6, 2021   Join us for Sunday Worship in the Sanctuary

The sanctuary is again filled with the voices of happy worshipers, though it isn't yet full capacity wise.  And thankfully, based on public guidance from our government, fully vaccinated people should feel free to come to church without a mask. We spent many months live-streaming our worship services, finally graduating to taking temperatures and wearing masks in order to gather as a congregation.  We are grateful to now be able to worship with our church family on a more normal basis.  However, if you prefer or need to wear a mask, please do so. We will continue to social distance. Let’s all exercise wise and gracious caution, knowing that various levels of concern still exist within our church body.

Fellowship after Sunday Worship Service - Everyone welcome

Fellowship is an opportunity to get to know the people of our church family and visitors to our worship service.  It's where we form friendships.  We bond with people who have common interests.  We learn about people who have unique talents as well as unique needs.  Fellowship after Sunday morning worship presents such an opportunity for us to be together and we are thankfully for it and would like for you to join us.  Distancing is somewhat observed inside the Fellowship Hall, and masks are optional.  You may also gather in the Master's Garden just outside the east facing entrance doors. Everyone is welcome to attend.

 Presbyterian Women

June 8, 2021 -  Bible Study at 1:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall.  All women in the community are invited to join the women of the Kirk as they gather each month for Bible Study and fellowship.  The study this year is Into the Light:  Finding Hope through Prayers of Lament and will be led by members of Presbyterian Women. June's lesson is Lamenting Life, because sometimes it is life, rather than death, that is cause for lament.  Scripture is Job 3:1 - 4, 9 - 19, and 24 - 26.

Presbyterian Women regular monthly meeting in the fellowship hall at 2:00 p.m. June 8th.  This is a meeting of the PW Coordinating Team with all women of the Kirk who wish to participate in the ongoing life of the church.

Men's Club

July 7, 2021 - The Men's Club at 8:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall. This group of hard working men provide the manpower for approved projects. They just finished a ramp and are planning their Needs & Deeds activities for the remainder of the year as the community opens up to more events. All men in the community are welcome to be a part of this mission group.

Rain, Rain, go away and come again another day

So much rain, so few days to complete the renovation of the landscaping in the front of the church.  The committee has done a beautiful job .... but more work remains and the rain almost every day is delaying what needs to be done.  But the committee cheerfully puts on their rain boots and works through the mud and it gets closer to being finished every week.
