Called To Serve

The mission of the Kirk family is to be a community of believers, united by faith, Scripture and a connection to our denomination. We are committed to calling people of Christ and encouraging one another in worship, education and fellowship.

 News & Announcements

The pastor search committee is meeting each week reading applications and reviewing resumes and continue to ask for your prayers as they go through the process of searching for a new pastor for the Kirk.  Under the Pastor Call tab above is the Ministry Information Form (MIF)which provides a narrative picture of the mission and ministry of the congregation and its sense of call.  Prospective pastors can use this form to help them determine whether God is calling them to serve our church.  The MIF expresses the Kirk's ministry context, demographics, history, theology, values, leadership needs, and expectations. July 18, 2021   Join us for Sunday Worship in the Sanctuary

Although COVID seems to be on the rise again, we are grateful to now be able to worship with our church family on a more normal basis.  Masks are not mandatory, but if you prefer or need to wear a mask, please do so. We will continue to social distance. Let’s all exercise wise and gracious caution, knowing that various levels of concern still exist within our church body.  Our services are also broadcast live each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. on Facebook - FFB Kirk of the Hills.

Fellowship after Sunday Worship Service - Everyone welcome

We gather in the fellowship hall every Sunday for an opportunity to get to know the people of our church family and visitors to our worship service. Distancing is observed inside the Fellowship Hall, and masks are optional.  You may also gather in the Master's Garden just outside the east facing entrance doors. Everyone is welcome to attend.

PW Bible Study has been suspended for July and August.  It will resume on September 14 at 1:00 p.m.  They will continue with Into the Light:  Finding Hope through Prayers of Lament and will be on Lesson six. All women in the community are invited to attend.
